Every year we get to the end and folks are ready to begin again by setting lofty goals – lose weight, quit smoking, exercise, eat healthier. Only to miss a day, a workout, a week, and one ice cream sundae and we are back to square one. Well, let this blog post be your permission to not set ridiculous goals that will only leave you feeling less than your best self. Let’s take a smaller chunk approach, very much like the concepts outlined in The 12-Week Year by Brian P. Morgan and Michael Lennington. It’s so much easier and realistic to think of your life in a smaller twelve-week chunk than the daunting days and weeks that fill an entire year. This article is our way of giving you permission to set two goals to work on in the next 12 weeks. Just two – not 20, not everything all at once – just pick two. As podcasters, we are setting our intentions to create one blog post a week and create one produced video a week. Since we have thrived on doing a weekly live, this is a big stretch for us, but one that we are being intentional in setting and creating systems to execute. Will we succeed? Time will tell, but we are asking the Pop Kulture Kids in our audience to hold us accountable. And that is something that any resolution you want to enact will need – an accountability buddy. If you don’t have one – we will be happy to step in – let us know what you are working on and we will be there to support. 2025 is just the start and we are working to push Pop Kulture Kids to the next level, and as we level up – we want all of you to level up to! What is your secret squirrel wish? That project you want to conquer – How can we help, let us know what two goals you want to tackle in the next 12-weeks and we vow to be your cheerleaders. If you are losing the weight, going to the gym – we are right there with you… and if you miss a day – okay – we will be there come February and March – so let’s check in at the end of March 2025!
